Sunday 8th January: U14 v Croft Juniors

This was a good performance against the team that sits at the top of the league and with a bit more luck, it could have been even closer. After their speedy striker had helped give Croft a two-goal lead, a shot from Max fell kindly for Fraser to poke home, but Croft managed to extend their lead again just before half time.

Wanborough had the better of the second half, after Croft had scored again, with a great strike from Luke bringing us back into the game. Despite some further chances, there were no more goals.

Coaches' Award: Luke, for a good defensive performance before his midfield exploits.

Sunday 11th December: U14 v Cricklade Youth

This was an exciting game that deservedly finished level. After Cricklade took the lead, goals from Fraser and Ed put us ahead at half time. Cricklade equalised after the break before Ben restored the lead. Two further goals from Cricklade put them in control with two minutes to go, but a last minute equaliser from James ensured the points were shared.

Coaches' Award: James, for an excellent all round performance.
